It may be a long drive from Seoul, but you’ll soon be able to buy some delicious Waffle Houses across the United States.
On Monday, the chain announced that it would be opening a new location in the Atlanta area and a new store in the St. Louis metro area.
The announcement comes as Wafflehouse is expanding into new markets like San Diego and Los Angeles, and it is also the first of its kind to operate in the Midwest, a move that has the brand in the midst of its fourth straight year of record sales.
The new Atlanta store will be the first in the chain’s new $5.99-$6.99-per-bowl WaffleHouse sandwich.
Waffle House opened its Atlanta store in July and is also planning to open a new Waffle Hut franchise in Indianapolis, Indiana, and a location in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by the end of the year.
The company will also begin expanding into other states in 2018, as it expands its restaurant offerings.
In February, Waffles opened a restaurant in Dallas, Texas, and in January, Wachovia opened a location.
“Waffle Houses is a family-owned and operated company,” Waffle Huts chief marketing officer Jennifer Eagan said in a statement.
“We are committed to providing our customers the freshest and most authentic Waffle experience possible.”
