Brendon McCullum and James Pattinson are set to make their debuts in Perth on Friday, April 5, against the hosts South Africa at Adelaide Oval.
The Australian skipper, who is recovering from a fractured thumb, will play his first innings at the Adelaide Oval and the team will make their first test start from the nets at Perth Oval on April 14.
Pattinson will make his Test debut from the second innings against South Australia on Friday at Perth Stadium, but he will be the first player to be used for a test match against the South African side.
James Pattison and Brendon Michael Anderson will be part of a squad that will travel to Adelaide for the first Test match of the tour on April 21.
The skipper and opener will play their first match at Adelaide Park on April 22 against the Adelaide Stars.
Both are likely to play their Test debut in Perth.
Peter Handscomb will be named as the team’s captain and will also make his debut from Perth Oval.
He will be used as a stand-in for the injured Josh Hazlewood.
Michael Clarke will make a one-day international debut in Adelaide on Friday against the SA Lions in a one off Test series against the Lions.
The captain and opener are expected the field for the series.
